Community Impact Day 2023

Each year, we come together as a firm to celebrate our commitment to making a meaningful impact in the communities we call home. For this year’s Community Impact Day, some of our Buffalo team chose to volunteer with FeedMore WNY — an organization that works to alleviate food insecurity by providing nutritious food and skills training to its Western New York neighbors in need.

Our team made and boxed 5 pallets of "backpack" meal packages for schools, and visited the FeedMore indoor growth shipping containers. These containers house 3-4 acres worth of fresh lettuce, kale, and greens. To say they have an impressive operation is an understatement.

FeedMore WNY manages a lot of elements to ensure the organization keeps moving. They utilize a fleet of vehicles, state-of-the-art facilities, a full commissary, and two warehouses to fulfill their mission.

Through their food bank distribution center, home-delivered meal program, RISE initiative, and other targeted feeding programs, FeedMore WNY brings dignity, hope, and a brighter future to 4 counties. To learn more about their facilities and volunteer opportunities, visit their website.
