Bayhealth Hospital

In 2019, FOS continued the relationship built by our parent company, CannonDesign’s, architecture services and began development of a facility condition assessment (FCA) of Bayhealth Hospital.

We used our FCA and capital planning software software, FOScore®, to complete the assessment and build a component-level asset condition database. Projects and capital plans were delivered to guide a data-based strategic investment approach for their facility portfolio. Now a software subscriber, the Hospital has a go-to central repository for asset data.

A guiding principal within FOS is an unwavering focus to complete our work on time, on budget, with a commitment to exceeding the needs and goals of our clients. Our success is measured by delivering useful and meaningful solutions that have a positive impact on the stakeholders they serve.

“The team worked with diverse stakeholders including administrators, physicians, medical and support staff and other users, & was able to mediate these interests. The FOS team has exceeded our expectations and achieved excellence in concern with thoughtful and thorough engagement of users, stakeholders, and the community.” - Jerry J. Peters, Director, Facilities Planning and Construction, Bayhealth

Today’s healthcare facilities should be functional environments where capital improvement plans are ever-present. As a team of experienced assessors, the technical skills we bring to projects help us fuel our clients to manage effective spaces for their people.

First and foremost, Bayhealth is a community hospital. The project was a success because the team was such a success. This mentality guided our capital asset planning and management system while shaping our recommendations for repair and maintenance funds.
