Elevating James Matz’s Expertise: CJP Earned

When James Matz (National Account Manager for our Simplebid® platform) first joined the FOS team, we asked how he thought he would make an impact on FOS. He responded, “My goal is to make Simplebid® not only a trusted job order contracting (JOC) process, but the preferred JOC process for clients who want to have a customizable, dedicated JOC program and a level of service they have not previously had access to. We will become trusted partners to not only to provide exemplary support to the client but true value to the taxpayers our clients represent.”
Only a couple years later, and he’s proven his commitment to FOS and to maximizing the solutions available to JOC users. We’re thrilled to announce that James has elevated his expertise, by earning the Certified Job Order Contracting Professional (CJP) credential through the Center for JOC Excellence (the job order contracting association). James met the criteria of the program with formal education, field experience, demonstrated capability and understanding of the JOC body of knowledge, and elevated professional standards.
James has an extensive background in facilities management, JOC project management, and cost estimating. He’s successfully propelled JOC programs for public agency clients throughout Southern California, working directly with counties, cities, and universities on their JOC parameters. This esteemed professional dedication signifies his commitment to uphold the integrity and caliber of professional JOC programs. Please join us in congratulating James on this distinction!
